Class/Event Schedule

Classes take place at 9191 Old Seward Highway, Suite 13. Class fees must be paid at the time of registration to assure space in classes. Class fees are not refundable. If you miss a prepaid class, you must call 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE to roll over credit to another class. All participants must be 14 years of age to participate in classes. Credit must be used within thirty days. A 10% discount from regular prices is offered on the day of any paid class.

August 2-7: DEMO STAMP SALE
We are bursting with stamps in our classroom so will be selling some of those used in past year’s classes. Some stamps may be currently discontinued from companies like Amuse and Hero Arts.

Saturday, August 7th: MAKE AND TAKE 10:30-4:30 FREE
We’ll be creating a cheerful floral card using Memory Box new “Seaside” cardstock, their nature inspired stamps and pearlescent Brilliance inks. Come and play!

Thursday, August 12th: “Fright Night” 6:00-8:00 pm $20
Play with the newest stamps from Memory Box as we create 5 cards in rich shades of yellows, reds and oranges. This class is intended for those who have some experience stamping. We will be doing a variety of techniques including layering inks and acrylic paints. Come dressed to play and create! We’ll be using new products like the Design Adhesives, Flower Soft and Shimmerz spray.

Saturday, August 14th: Elegant Card Collection 10:30-1:00 and 2:00-4:30 $20
Marty S. has updated the “one sheet wonder” concept using Memory Box stamps and gorgeous color palette of rich greens and purples. You will take home a set of 6 coordinated note cards and a bookmark. This is a good class for beginning stampers, with a focus on basic layering techniques and color selection. Paper trimmers will be available for class but if you prefer to bring your own, please be certain it is marked as yours. You will take home pattern and written instructions.

Thursday, August 19th: Memory Box Christmas (repeat) 6:00-8:00 $20
Create 5 delightful cards for Christmas in new colors of Thistle and Wassail. We will use the newest stamps and papers from Memory Box. This class features the use of Fun Flock and Flower Soft to give your images textural appeal. Other techniques include coloring with Copic markers and masking.

Saturday, August 21st: Amuse-a-thon 11:00-1:30 $20
Come have fun with stamping friends while you create 8 Christmas cards using new and old Amuse images. These cards are a collaborative effort between Donna and Betty and are designed to be “production style” (quick and easy). Work at your own pace and enjoy snacks and music of the season while you create. Students will get a special one-time discount of 15% on all Amuse products on class day.

Tuesday, August 24th: Fireweed Collection 6:00-8:00 $20
Kara has designed note cards using our own collection of fireweed stamps. Use a variety of media to create this coordinated cards that will be tucked into a clear box wrapped with a beautiful ribbon. A nice gift idea!

Saturday, August 28th: Grunge Make and Take 10:30-4:30 FREE
Wondered about Grungepaper? Come in and see some of the many techniques that can be done with this leather-like paper. Create a bracelet using embossed Grungepaper that will be painted, sanded and distressed.
